Along the rocky southern shore of Lake superior, twisted maples, birches and pines grip the shoreline with their roots to withstand the extreme environment.  Inspired by an picture taken at a roadside pull off, this piece celebrates the rugged landscape of Lake Superior's southern shores.  
This piece is mounted on a 8x10" canvas and finished with Dorland's wax to preserve the painting. It is framed in a  hand made floating frame that is hang ready. Painting is 10x8", overall piece measures 11x9".
