Every trout fisherperson imagines this moment with every cast. The sudden strike, the flash of a brown trout, the explosive splash and powerful sweep of its tail. No one ever really gets to see the whole moment quite like this, but we carry it with us anyway, tucked somewhere between memory, imagination, and the next cast.
