So Many New Things!

laurastockwell74

Ever have that time of year where there are so many new things you just can't keep up! Well this last week has been like that. Guess what!? Laura Stockwell (AKA, The Writer of our Blog and watercolor artist), has been invited to show work at the The AuSable Artisan Village (https://www.artisanvillage.org/) in Grayling, MI. .Now I don't want to brag but.....what an absolute HONOR. Grayling is a smaller town on the banks of the historic and infamous AUSABLE River. The river and the town hold that special place in my heart as a trout fisher but also because it is a beautiful place, steeped in history.

And the AuSable Artisan Village is so interwoven into the fabric of the community with concerts, media, art, guest authors, classes....it is a pretty epic place for us art lovers. And they asked me to display my work there! Such a thrill and an honor. So of course I said yes and started pulling all my original art out to see what might be a good fit for the incredibly well curated gallery. I am so thrilled. Dates and details pending but hoping to get it all situated, delivered and ready by early November.

OK, so that's one new thing. Next up, we have the annual Winter Show with the Lapeer Arts Association coming up in November at Gallery 194 in Lapeer as well. Wahoo! While this is not new, I am always pretty excited to be invited to participate. We have some new work to frame and hang too so it'll be a great show. There are some talented artists there! A great place to check out for unique Holiday gifts this season.

And as if these two opportunities weren't enough....guess what? We're going to be at the Nature Art Show at the Chippewa Nature Center in Midland for 2 days in early December! Ahhhh! YES! Have you been to the Chippewa Nature Center? If not, visit immediately! If not for the Art show on December, sometime soon. They have so many great nature programs and experts on site. A great place to check out this fall.

More details to come on all of these within the next week or two if you'd like to see the work we create in person.

In addition to all of these amazing opportunities, we're looking at the holiday season! That means work on Holiday Cards, ornaments and maybe even some sales. ALL of our framed work will be at locations and not on the site. If you're looking for something in particular and you do not see it on our site, please shoot us an email at info@NORDmi.com - we'll see how we can help.
